Beckham: City Will Never Be Bigger Than United

David Beckham is adamant Manchester City will never usurp Manchester United as the vast riches on offer at Eastlands will not trump the rich tradition and history housed at Old Trafford. The city rivals meet in the first leg of the Carling Cup semi-final on Tuesday night and Roberto Mancini hinted in his weekly press conference that City could become bigger than their neighbours who have traditionally overshadowed City by a substantial degree. With United's latest financial bulletin highlighting growing debt and City spending freely thanks to the riches of Sheikh Mansour, it has been suggested that the balance of power is decisively shifting in Manchester, with Tuesday's game at Eastlands a chance for City to flex their muscles.

But Beckham - who became one of the world's most recognisable faces thanks to his success at United, which included winning the Treble in 1999 - has told City that money cannot buy the kind of history and prestige that his former employers possess in abundance.

"I would never sign for Manchester City," Beckham told the Mirror. "That's mainly because I am a Man United fan. It doesn't matter about money. It is always about loyalty with Manchester United. They are the team I supported and the team that I played for for years and I just couldn't bring myself to sign for City. I couldn't do it.

"City will never be bigger than United. Money does a lot for a club and a team, but being successful and being one of the most recognised clubs in the world doesn't come from the money.

"It's about history. There aren't many clubs that can boast the history of Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona or AC Milan. It's not about having all the money in the world. All that does is creates attention but you can't buy the history of a club."

Beckham has also addressed recent reports which claimed he would consider retiring following the World Cup finals in South Africa. As well as dismissing that out of hand, the midfielder has even stated there is an outside chance he could still be playing when, at the age of 40, the following World Cup takes place.

Jean-Pierre Messerman - a doctor at AC Milan, the club that Beckham has re-joined on loan from LA Galaxy - recently claimed the midfielder could be fit enough to play in Brazil in 2014.

"I would love to still be playing in five years' time," Beckham said. "But we will have to wait and see. I definitely think it is possible if I look after myself and carry on doing what I am doing.

"I haven't said anything about retiring and I'm not thinking about it. It's something that's definitely not true and it's not going to happen. I can't even see the logic in the idea. If I was to be picked in the squad and we were to go all the way in the World Cup and win it, people might turn round and say 'it's a great time to quit'.

"But I'd still carry on playing. It's all about your passion for the game and how much you love playing, not reaching a certain level and saying 'you can't better that'.

"When the doctor told me the story about the TV crew, I thought about Brazil in 2014 for a moment. It may be something that is out of reach but I wouldn't rule myself out of playing at that time."

How To Configure SQL Server 2005 To Allow Remote Connections

I was going crazy last week, I was working on project at Indika Energy Tbk, and I was working until midnight at the client site....hhuufffffff really tired... I am in charge for Technical Issue for that project regarding with KABA Exos 9300 system which is using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition for the Database. I am not SQL programmer, I am not SQL developer, and I don't really understanding about SQL, that's why I need more time to fix all the problems, thanks to all friends who was helping me and thanks to Microsoft for this helpful information.

I found this article from Microsoft Support Website, has been add by myself (just a little bit :p) as my experience with the problem:

When you try to connect to an instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 from a remote computer, you may receive an error message. This problem may occur when you use any program to connect to SQL Server. For example, you receive the following error message when you use the SQLCMD utility to connect to SQL Server:

Sqlcmd: Error: Microsoft SQL Native Client: An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections.

I found an error when I was trying to connect PC Server and PC Client: "[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied"

To enable remote connections on the instance of SQL Server 2005 and to turn on the SQL Server Browser service, use the SQL Server 2005 Surface Area Configuration tool. The Surface Area Configuration tool is installed when you install SQL Server 2005.

Enable remote connections for SQL Server 2005 Express or SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition

You must enable remote connections for each instance of SQL Server 2005 that you want to connect to from a remote computer. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft SQL Server 2005, point to Configuration Tools, and then click SQL Server Surface Area Configuration.
2. On the SQL Server 2005 Surface Area Configuration page, click Surface Area Configuration for Services and Connections.
3. On the Surface Area Configuration for Services and Connections page, expand Database Engine, click Remote Connections, click Local and remote connections, click the appropriate protocol to enable for your environment, and then click Apply. Note Click OK when you receive the following message: Changes to Connection Settings will not take effect until you restart the Database Engine service.
4. On the Surface Area Configuration for Services and Connections page, expand Database Engine, click Service, click Stop, wait until the MSSQLSERVER service stops, and then click Start to restart the MSSQLSERVER service.

Enable the SQL Server Browser service

If you are running SQL Server 2005 by using an instance name and you are not using a specific TCP/IP port number in your connection string, you must enable the SQL Server Browser service to allow for remote connections. For example, SQL Server 2005 Express is installed with a default instance name of Computer Name\SQLEXPRESS. You are only required to enable the SQL Server Browser service one time, regardless of how many instances of SQL Server 2005 you are running. To enable the SQL Server Browser service, follow these steps.

Important These steps may increase your security risk. These steps may also make your computer or your network more vulnerable to attack by malicious users or by malicious software such as viruses. We recommend the process that this article describes to enable programs to operate as they are designed to, or to implement specific program capabilities. Before you make these changes, we recommend that you evaluate the risks that are associated with implementing this process in your particular environment. If you choose to implement this process, take any appropriate additional steps to help protect your system. We recommend that you use this process only if you really require this process.

1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft SQL Server 2005, point to Configuration Tools, and then click SQL Server Surface Area Configuration.
2. On the SQL Server 2005 Surface Area Configuration page, click Surface Area Configuration for Services and Connections.
3. On the Surface Area Configuration for Services and Connections page, click SQL Server Browser, click Automatic for Startup type, and then click Apply. Note When you click the Automatic option, the SQL Server Browser service starts automatically every time that you start Microsoft Windows.
4. Click Start, and then click OK.

Note When you run the SQL Server Browser service on a computer, the computer displays the instance names and the connection information for each instance of SQL Server that is running on the computer. This risk can be reduced by not enabling the SQL Server Browser service and by connecting to the instance of SQL Server directly through an assigned TCP port. Connecting directly to an instance of SQL Server through a TCP port is beyond the scope of this article. For more information about the SQL Server Browser server and connecting to an instance of SQL Server, see the following topics in SQL Server Books Online:

Create exceptions in Windows Firewall

These steps apply to the version of Windows Firewall that is included in Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and in Windows Server 2003. If you are using a different firewall system, see your firewall documentation for more information.

If you are running a firewall on the computer that is running SQL Server 2005, external connections to SQL Server 2005 will be blocked unless SQL Server 2005 and the SQL Server Browser service can communicate through the firewall. You must create an exception for each instance of SQL Server 2005 that you want to accept remote connections and an exception for the SQL Server Browser service.

SQL Server 2005 uses an instance ID as part of the path when you install its program files. To create an exception for each instance of SQL Server, you must identify the correct instance ID. To obtain an instance ID, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft SQL Server 2005, point to Configuration Tools, and then click SQL Server Configuration Manager.
2. In SQL Server Configuration Manager, click the SQL Server Browser service in the right pane, right-click the instance name in the main window, and then click Properties.
3. On the SQL Server Browser Properties page, click the Advanced tab, locate the instance ID in the property list, and then click OK.

To open Windows Firewall, click Start, click Run, type firewall.cpl, and then click OK.

Majukah Teknologi Negeriku?

Pertama kali tahu ada Microsoft Bloggership 2010 ini dari website Pesta Blogger saya agak suprise karena ternyata event ini sudah pernah diadakan sebelumnya di tahun 2008 dan menobatkan Anandita Puspitasari sebagai pemenang untuk tahun 2009, what a lucky girl. Bagaimana mungkin saya bisa ketinggalan event ini??!!

Ketika saya membaca tema dari kompetisi ini yaitu mengangkat isu bagaimana para pendidik dan institusi pendidikan dapat memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk menyampaikan materi pelajaran secara lebih hidup dan kreatif, hal ini sudah tidak asing lagi bagi saya karena beberapa dosen saya semasa saya kuliah dulu, sekarang ini sudah memiliki Facebook yang awalnya mungkin hanya untuk keep contact dengan relasi mereka tapi mungkin sekarang sudah digunakan sebagai sarana komunikasi antara dosen dan mahasiswa, bahkan ada beberapa diantara mereka yang memanfaatkan fasilitas blog untuk menyampaikan materi kuliah atau berbagi informasi lainnya, contohnya blog milik Jimmy Hasugian, tenaga pendidik yang saya kenal, ada juga beberapa blog dari tenaga pendidik yang saya temukan di internet misalnya Setio Pramono dan Romi Satria Wahono, dan masih banyak lagi yang lain. Saya pikir jika tenaga-tenaga pendidik atau institusi pendidikan menggunakan media internet sebagai sarana untuk mengajar atau mendidik tentu menjadi hal yang sangat bermanfaat bagi kemajuan pendidikan di Indonesia, pelajar akan sangat mudah memperoleh informasi berkaitan dengan keperluan mereka. Yang perlu kita sadari adalah tidak semua tenaga pendidik atau institusi pendidikan melek akan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi sehingga mungkin yang perlu dilakukan adalah bagaimana supaya tenaga-tenaga pendidik tersebut bisa memperoleh informasi untuk menggunakan internet dengan tepat dan benar agar mereka bisa memaksimalkan teknologi ini untuk kemajuan pendidikan di Indonesia.

Saat ini mungkin ketergantungan kita akan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi sudah 'mendarah daging' hingga sesaat saja tidak online entah itu cek email, cari berita, dll, rasanya adanya yang hilang...pernah suatu hari saya berkata “wah hari ini belum online Kompas, ada berita apa yach??” kemudian teman saya berkata “wah gaya loe, baru juga nggak baca kompas hari ini sudah kayak anak ayam kehilangan kehilangan induk” hehehe tapi itulah realita yang ada sekarang dan tentunya bukan saya saja yang mengalaminya. Betul nggak? Di kota-kota besar mungkin realita ini lah yang sering kita hadapi, bagaimana kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi begitu mempengaruhi kehidupan kita sehari-hari karena didukung oleh berbagai fasilitas yang memadai namun bagaimana dengan kota – kota lainnya di Indonesia?

Mari sejenak kita menuju daerah Indonesia di bagian timur, tentu miris karena bagaimana mungkin tenaga pendidik atau institusi pendidikan dapat memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi jika tidak ada fasilitas yang mendukung, internet merupakan hal yang masih asing buat mereka. Lihat saja berbagai provider komunikasi yang memiliki jaringan internet seperti Telkomsel, Indosat, Smart, dll, saat ini area jangkauan mereka baru mencapai Jawa, Sumatra, Bali, Sulawesi, Kalimantan lalu bagaimana daerah-daerah di bagian timur Indonesia seperti Nusa Tenggara Timur, Ambon, Papua?

Sebagai anak yang tumbuh di daerah timur Indonesia, saya merasakan betul bagaimana adanya kesenjangan akan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, saya ingat Januari 2009 lalu ketika saya berlibur di kampung halaman saya, ketika saya memerlukan koneksi internet untuk aktifitas saya seperti biasanya saya di kantor untuk mengirimkan informasi penting kepada beberapa klien kantor, hal ini tidak bisa saya lakukan dengan segera, jangankan memperoleh koneksi internet, saya harus berhadapan dulu dengan masalah gangguan listrik yang kata keluarga saya, sudah biasa karena PLN selalu menjatah jadwal pemadaman bergilir, kemudian ketika listrik sudah normal kembali, saya dihadapkan dengan problem koneksi internet yang hanya bisa menggunakan TelkomNet Instan yang kecepatan sungguh menyedihkan kemudian diperparah dengan putus-nyambungnya koneksi internet justru pada saat-saat 'genting', arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh life’s suck without internet…anda dapat membayangkan kesulitan yang saya hadapi……Saya kemudian mulai survey keliling kampung halaman saya tersebut, untuk melihat apakah ada warnet bahkan mendatangi kantor Telkom yang ada di sana untuk melihat apakah ada Speedy dan ternyata memang tidak ada Speedy, hanya ada TelkomNet Instan, yang kecepatannya ya ampyuuuuiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnn ……tapi apa mau dikata inilah realita yang saya hadapi di kampung halaman saya, bahkan hingga hari ini, keluarga saya masih mengalami kesulitan saat membutuhkan koneksi internet. Saya juga ingat ketika saya ditugaskan ke daerah Papua, hmmm bagaimana susahnya memperoleh koneksi internet, begitu pula laporan klien kami di Papua setiap kali saya mengirimkan data dari Jakarta ke mereka, selalu lambat jika download dan mereka selalu bilang "maklum saja mbak, koneksi internet di sini sangat jelek". Lalu inikah yang kita namakan kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi? Jadi bagaimana mungkin tenaga pendidik dan institusi pendidikan di daerah bagian timur Indonesia bisa memanfaatkan fasilitas internet jika tidak didukung dengan infrastuktur yang memadai, jangankan memakai internet, bagaimana mungkin mereka bisa fasih dengan internet jika menggunakan komputer saja masih awam? Sudah saatnya pemerintah mulai memperhatikan pembangunan di daerah timur sehingga pemerataan pembangunan juga dapat dinikmati oleh seluruh rakyat Indonesia. Mungkin sebagian besar rakyat di bagian timur Indonesia masih bertanya-tanya apa itu internet, apa itu teknologi komunikasi/informasi, namun perlu kita ketahui walau tanpa teknologi, walau tanpa internet, satu hal yang tak pernah mati di daerah timur Indonesia adalah impian putera-puteri daerah sana untuk menimba ilmu setinggi-tingginya, hingga suatu saat nanti mereka percaya bahwa mereka bisa memajukan daerah mereka dengan baik. Jadi, jangan menyerah teman-teman!

Ferguson, who signed Giggs as a teenager, said that the player's longevity was a credit to the Cardiff-born star.

"Several things give you longevity [as a player]," Ferguson told BBC Sport Wales.

"The physical aspect helps, Ryan is thin and wiry and has never had a weight problem.

"But above all it is about the way he has lived his life.

"Some players get to their 30s and their focus goes to different things.

"But Ryan has kept his focus on playing football. The quality he brings even at 36 is incredible."

Former Wales striker John Hartson added: "Ryan's a special man, a credit to himself and his family.

"With everything he's done in the game, he's still showing the attitude and desire to keep going so congratulations to Ryan."

Tambal Ban Motor : On Call Service

Ini berita baik! :) Hari ini ban motor teman saya Sita bocor, dengan berberat hati dia ingin mendorongnya dari kantor sampai tempat tukang tambal ban terdekat, tapi beruntung ketika hendak mendorong motornya ke tukang tambal ban, tetangga kantor menanyakan hendak mau diapakan motornya, Sita kemudian menjelaskan kalau dia ingin menambal bannya, kemudian si tetangga kantor memberitahukan kalau tidak usah repot-repot ke sana, telepon saja si tukang tambal bannya, we are surprised! akhirnya di telepon lah si tukang tambal ban dan tak lama kemudian dia sudah ada di depan kantor, lengkap dengan peralatannya, ban pun segera di tambal. Mantab kan?! hanya dengan menelpon si tukang tambal ban siap datang mengunjungi kita untuk menambal ban yang bocor dan harganya murah :). Seandainya semua persoalan dapat diselesaikan hanya dengan On Call Service dan persoalannya selesai dengan perfect, wowwwwww what a wonderful life then hahahaha.

Stranger...

Last Sunday, She went to the church, it is her young brother's wedding. She feels like a stranger in the church because no one recognize her. She take a sit in the back, look the wedding ceremonial, in her heart, she said They're not ready yet. She wants to cry but she hold her tears. She try to remember all the details while they were young, grew up together, then suddenly remember that she miss all the pre wedding ceremonial. After church service, they take picture together then her brother come to her, they're kiss and hug, he whisper in her ear that he ask to bless them as family. That's the part she can't hold her tears anymore, they're both crying, she was cry in her brother shoulder. She just ask God to bless them in their live.
